Step3Studio is a full service environmental design collective focusing on sustainable, integrated environments, building design and engineering, landscape urbansim, near environment products and systems.

Attempting to erase the distinction between building design/industrial design, and landscapes/ecology systems, we look at each project, regardless of size, as an exercise in linking people, rituals, and material-energy streams to place and pattern in a way that considers and nourishes connections.

Founded by Ron Stanford in 2010, the San Francisco based collective takes inspiration from permaculture, transition planning, and the transformative power of the quiet connected moment.
